In a castle high on top of a hill lives an inventor's greatest creation - Edward, a near-complete person. The creator died before he could finish Edward's hands; instead, he is left with metal scissors for hands. Since then, he has lived alone, until a kind lady named Peg discovers him and welcomes him into her home. At first, everyone welcomes him into the community, but soon things begin to take a change for the worse. Written by FilmFanUK on IMDB.
Johnny Depp and Tim Burton's first collaboration. Rudy remembers watching Johnny Depp on 21 Jump Street, was surprised to see him in a different role with Tim Burton. Future collabs include Sweeny Todd, Dark Shadows, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Sleepy Hollow, and Corpse Bride.
Edward Scissorhands’ hands were co-designed by Stan Winston and Tim Burton. Stan Winston is known for working on Terminator, Jurassic Park, and Aliens (with H.R. Geiger).
